Templates

A template is a budget or a schedule you've saved from one house to start the next. Applying one copies it. Changing or deleting the template later doesn't touch houses that already used it.

To saveDo this
A budgetOn the house's Budget, choose Save as template. It keeps every line and amount, except cut lines.
A scheduleOn the house's Board, switch to Timeline and choose Save as template. It keeps the dated tasks as days from the start.
To useDo this
A budgetOn a new house's empty Budget, pick it under Your templates.
A scheduleOn the timeline, choose Add a schedule template and pick it under Your templates.

Open the account menu and choose Templates to rename or delete one. You can't edit what's inside a template; save a new one from a house instead.

TipTo carry over a house's budget and its schedule in one step, use Start from a past house when you add the next one.

Things that are fixed

Some lists are the same for every workspace, so reports line up from house to house: the seven board columns, the budget categories, the rooms, the trades, and the five document folders. Stage names are the exception; you can rename those.
