Public page for a house
By Brandon HadlerPublished Updated
A public page shows one house the way you choose: a headline, a few lines about it, and the photos you pick from its story, each checked for faces, house numbers, and belongings first. The address and every number stay hidden until you turn them on, and nothing is public until you press Publish page.
- Where it is
- Turned off for now
- Who can use it
- Owners and admins. Team members and contractors don't see it.
Before you publish
Set up your public profile first. Its address is part of every page's link, such as fixerupperhouse.com/s/maple-street-flips/418-maple-ave.
A page can go up once you've got the keys. A wholesale deal can go up once its sale closes. The example house can't be published, because its numbers aren't real.
Choose what it says
- Page address: the end of the link. It starts as the street address in lowercase; change it to anything.
- Headline and About the house: optional. With no headline the page says something like "A 3 bed, 1.5 bath house".
- How much of the address shows: hidden (the default), city and state, or the full address. The full address shows only while the house is listed or under contract; once it sells or is rented it's someone's home, so the page drops to city and state.
- Map: off by default. It shows the neighborhood, never the house's spot.
- Numbers: purchase price, rehab cost, days from keys to listed, sale price, and profit, each its own switch and all off at first. Sale price and profit show only after the sale closes.
If the house has a loan on it, the page warns before you show the purchase price or rehab cost. Your lender may not want them public.
Choose the photos
- Step 1: Under Photos, find a photo from the house's story.
- Step 2: Tap Check for privacy. With your workspace's AI key, the app looks for faces, house numbers, license plates, street signs, mail with names, and a previous owner's photos or belongings. Without a key, look it over yourself and tap Nothing here to hide.
- Step 3: Tap Blur it beside anything it found, or open Blur and details and drag a box over anything else.
- Step 4: Tap Put on the page.
Visitors get a copy without the photo's location data, with every box blurred. Your original isn't changed.
Some photos never show: videos, move-in and move-out photos, a sub's photo you haven't reviewed, and anything marked Not for sharing. A listing photographer's photos, marked Listing only, show only while the house is on the market. Once a lease starts on a rental, only outside photos show, and every photo on a rental carries a small link back to its real page.
Publish and share
Tap Publish page, then Copy link. A link pasted into a text or a post shows the page's headline and a photo. Unpublish takes it down at once. A photo someone already opened can stay in their browser for up to a minute.
Subs on the page
A sub assigned to the house's tasks is named, by business name, only after they agree from their own login. They can withdraw at any time.
Messages and removal requests
Each page has a Get in touch form. A message lands in Contacts and in your bell. Anyone can also ask for the page to come down from the link at the bottom; that request shows on your public profile, and one left for 7 days comes to us.
