Posts about a house
By Brandon HadlerPublished Updated
Posts suggests a post at each milestone: getting the keys, demo, a change order, a passed inspection, the finished punch list, listing, going under contract, and selling or renting. It writes the caption from the house's record, makes a version for each platform and an optional vertical reel, and reminds you when it's time. You post it yourself.
- Where it is
- Turned off for now
- Who can use it
- Owners, admins, and team members with Posts on. Contractors don't see it.
Start a post
- Step 1: Open Posts. Under Suggested, each milestone shows with photos from that time.
- Step 2: Tap Draft this post, or New post to start from nothing.
- Step 3: Pick who it's Written for: buyers, renters, investors and lenders, or followers.
The caption starts as a plain one written from the record. With your workspace's AI key, Write with AI writes a fuller one, with hashtags and alt text for each photo.
What every caption is checked for
- Numbers: a dollar figure stays only if it's one you ticked under Numbers the caption may use, from your books. Anything else is taken out. Sale price and profit only once the sale closes.
- Offers to invest: wording that promises a return or invites the public to invest is taken out. Invite people to get in touch instead.
- Fair housing: words that say who should live somewhere, rather than describing the house, are flagged for you to reword. With an AI key, captions for buyers and renters are also checked by the model.
Photos
Add photos from the house. Each one has to be cleared for privacy before it can go out, as on a public page: Check for privacy with an AI key, or Nothing here to hide after you've looked it over. Tap a photo to set where crops stay centered. Downloads are the cleared copy: blurred where you chose, without the photo's location data.
A version for each platform
Tick where it's going. Each platform gets its own caption, cut to fit with the link kept, and its own crop, square or tall or wide to suit the platform: 4:5 for Instagram and Facebook, 16:9 for X, and 9:16 for stories, reels, and TikTok.
Reels
Choose Reel as the kind and tap Render reel. It makes a vertical video: 2.5 seconds for each photo, up to 4 seconds of each clip, with captions on screen and a wipe from a before to an after of the same room. It's under 90 seconds and has no music. Add a sound in Instagram or TikTok, which hold the licenses.
Post it
- Step 1: Under Post it now, pick the platform.
- Step 2: Tap Copy caption, then Save photos. On a phone that opens the share sheet; on a computer it downloads a zip with the photos and the caption.
- Step 3: Tap Open to go to the platform, and post.
- Step 4: Back here, paste the post's link if you like and tap Mark posted.
To post later, pick a time and tap Schedule. When it comes, you get a note in the bell and an email. The app never posts for you.
Links, clicks, and messages
With Link to set, the caption ends with a short link to the house's public page or your portfolio. Each click is counted, and a message sent from the page after clicking it is credited to the post.
Approval and suggestions
Owners and admins can open Post settings to choose how often posts are suggested (at each milestone, also weekly during the rehab, or off), for every house or just this one, and whether teammates' posts need approval before they're scheduled or posted.
