Post updates and share them

A pinned note for the standing facts, and short dated progress notes you can share with a lender or partner by private link.

Where it is
A house › This house › Updates
Who can use it
Owners and admins post and share. Team members can read.

An update is a few lines on where the job stands, with a photo if you like. Together they're the house's log. One at a time, they're what you send the person whose money is in the deal.

The pinned note

At the top of the page is the Pinned note, for what doesn't change day to day: the lockbox code, the alarm, the neighbour's name, what the inspector said. Type it and choose Save notes. It also shows on the house's Home. Owners and admins write it; everyone on the house can read it.

Post an update

  1. Step 1: Open Updates under This house.
  2. Step 2: Type the Note.
  3. Step 3: To include a picture, pick one under Photo. It has to be in the house's Photos already.
  4. Step 4: Choose Add note.

One of the example's reads: “Cabinets and quartz are on site. Asked the lender for draw 2 to cover drywall and the kitchen.”

An update can't be edited. Delete removes it at once, with no confirmation.

Share one

  1. Step 1: On the update, choose Share link.
  2. Step 2: The link is copied for you. Paste it into a text or an email.
